Electro-Brite Acid Cleaner #7A is an acidic liquid material which, when diluted with water, can be used to clean and activate copper and copper alloys.Electro-Brite Acid Cleaner #7A will remove oxides and activate the copper surfaces prior to electroplating and will not affect most resists normally used in the through-hole plating process.
Circuit boards prepared with Electro-Brite Acid Cleaner #7A require no additional treatment prior to electrolytic copper plating.

Electro-Brite Acid Cleaner #14a
Product Description
Electro-Brite Acid Cleaner #14A is formulated specifically to remove the chromate coating from copper-clad laminate.Applications include inner layer cleaning prior to imaging and removal of the chromate coating prior to microetching. Electro-Brite Acid Cleaner #14A can be used as a one step process for cleaning reverse treated or drum side treated foils without the use of a microetch.

Electro-Brite Cir-Clean S
Product Description
Electro-Brite Cir-Clean S is an acidic liquid material which, when diluted with water, can be used to clean, condition and activate copper and copper alloys.Cir-Clean S can be used in spray or immersion. It will remove oxides and activate copper surfaces prior to electroplating, chemical cleaning or other chemical processing.
As with all acid cleaners, a minimum of two rinses are recommended after treatment with Cir-Clean S. Circuit boards prepared with Cir-Clean S may be processed without a microetch step if the surface contamination is low. A mild microetch prior to electrolytic copper plating is recommended in cases where heavy resist residues may be a problem.
Cir-Clean S has the following advantages:
- Ease of rinsing reduces drag-in to subsequent processes
- Non-chelated for ease of waste treatment
- Controlled and predictable etch on copper
