Expo dates: February 20 - 25, Anaheim, CAThe world printed circuit board and assembly industries converged on Anaheim, CA to take part in what was the largest exposition and technical education program of its kind in North America.Visitors had opportunities to view the latest in process, material and fabrication technologies for printed wiring board manufacturing. Experts from around the globe were on hand to share leading edge and state of the art technologies. Opening ceremonies ushered in each of the IPC Apex Expo 2005 show days with noted keynote speakers: Mr. Burt Rutan, the inventor of SpaceShip One shared his insights on business and technology. Other interesting keynote speakers like Walt Custer, industry prognosticator, outlined where the pwb industry is headed in 2005. |
Experts in a variety of topics
including HDI, embedded passives, lead-free technology and new materials spoke
on their topics and over 40 workshops and 120 technical papers were
presented. On the show floor at the Anaheim Convention Center there were opportunities to talk with suppliers and OEMs. Electrochemicals at Booth #1829 fielded technical experts to show how we can help you gain a competitive advantage. We introduced several new products including processes for small hole plating, a new PTH process for high reliability; high aspect ratio printed wiring boards and an electroless nickel-immersion gold process. In addition, we discussed the latest in via filling technology and provided insight on how to desmear high Tg, high performance resin systems. It is all about reliability.
